Booking Your Group Tour
Arriving in Old Lyme your group enters a quintessential New England village that travelers dream of finding. Much of the rural character that drew artists to the area over 100 years ago remains today. But now the town also offers a charming array of art galleries, antique shops, inns, and restaurants to appeal to any palate.
Your visits to the Florence Griswold Museum are sure to be a favorite for your group. The Museum offers changing exhibitions, special events, and seasonal offerings to make each visit here different from the last!
The historic Griswold House is staffed with a trained guide who will give your group an introduction to the site, including delightful accounts of the life and times of Miss Florence and the artists of the Lyme Art Colony as well as an overview of American Impressionist art.
Although the Krieble Gallery is considered a self guided venue, we offer various packages where a trained docent can lead you group through the current exhibitions. This exquisite space, built in 2002, offers at least three changing exhibitions each year - from late 18th century masters to contemporary art.
When scheduling your day, leave time to visit William Chadwick's restored studio and stroll through Miss Florence's historic garden and down by the Lieutenant River - favorite painting sites of the artists. Also, keep in mind that we can arrange a tour of the gardens as well as lunch on our covered veranda, which features picturesque views of the Lieutenant River.

A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required; balance due on day of tour.
* No discounts or memberships apply to individuals on group tours.
* Please arrange to have the balance paid by one person on the day of your visit.
* Major credit cards, check, or cash are accepted.
* The Krieble Gallery is wheelchair accessible.
